SMS Terms

These SMS Terms cover text messages sent through Sell For Me ("Sell For Me", "we", "us"), operated by Sell For Me. They apply to two kinds of texting programs:

• Sell For Me's own program ("Sell For Me Alerts"). Texts from Sell For Me to people who asked us for a demo call or information on sellforme.ai, and to our customers about their account.
• Our customers' programs. Texts that a business using Sell For Me sends to its own leads and customers. Each business texts under its own name, from its own phone number, under its own texting registration (by default through the business's own GoHighLevel number, or through our carrier, Telnyx, if the business switched to Sell For Me numbers). When a business texts you, its name appears in the message, and that business's own terms and privacy policy apply alongside these terms. Ask the business for them, or reply HELP.

1. What the messages are

Depending on the program you joined, you may receive:

• confirmations and reminders of appointments you booked, and messages to reschedule them;
• a secure payment link you asked for during a call, and confirmation once the payment goes through;
• details and reminders for events you registered for;
• follow-up messages about your inquiry or demo request from the business you contacted (for Sell For Me's program: about your Sell For Me demo and getting started), and replies to messages you send.

Texts may be written and sent by an AI assistant for the business. They identify the business and never claim to be from a person when they aren't.

2. How you join

You join a program only by agreeing to it: for example by ticking an unchecked consent box on a website or ad form that describes these texts, by texting the business's number, or by asking for a text on a call. Agreeing is never a condition of buying anything.

3. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. It depends on your conversations, bookings and follow-ups. The automatic follow-up schedule for one inquiry ends after 30 days, or sooner when you book, buy or reply STOP. Later (between 60 days and a year after), the business may call a lead who didn't buy once more to see if they're still interested; those are calls, not texts, and an opt-out stops them too.

4. How to stop, and how to get help

Texts are sent only between 8 AM and 9 PM in your time zone (or the narrower hours your state requires); a text due outside those hours waits until they open. The exceptions are replies the rules require (opt-out, opt-in and HELP replies), a reply to a text you sent in the last 15 minutes, and a link you asked for on a call that's live or just ended.

Reply STOP to cancel. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT or STOP ALL, or say you want to stop in your own words. You'll receive one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no more texts from that program after it. Replying STOP also stops calls from that business, and saying "stop calling" or pressing 9 on a call (when the call offers it) stops texts as well, unless you say you only want one of them to stop. On numbers Sell For Me provides this takes effect immediately; on a business's GoHighLevel number it reaches GoHighLevel within minutes. Reply START to resubscribe (or UNSTOP; YES works only as an answer to a STOP you just texted). Resubscribing restarts texts only, not calls, and you'll get one message confirming it. A number the business put on its do-not-contact list, or that's on the National Do Not Call Registry, can't be resubscribed by text.

Reply HELP for help. You can also reply INFO. You'll get one reply with the business's name, a support phone number and email, never an AI conversation. You can also email support@sellforme.ai.

5. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include the major US carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and others), but not every carrier or plan supports every message.

6. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, and the account holder of the mobile number or authorized by them, to join a texting program.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The businesses that text through Sell For Me make the same commitment when they register their programs.
